Raw Eating Recipe – Smoothie

This must be around week three now, and it has been so far so good. There have been a few obstacles in the way, but as I said right at the beginning, it doesn’t matter, this needs to be a transition.

Today I want to share a staple, in my quest to cut back on the consumption of animal products. This particular smoothie has been with me for a couple of years now, and one that I swear by to help pack in as much goodness in the most convenient way possible.


Green Smoothie Recipe:


I wasn’t really thinking too well when I filmed this video, and I would recommend adding all of the harder ingredients (apple, cucumber, celery) first, so to leave the spinach etc at the top, making it easier to blend/get the cutting blade attached.

Tip:

Always have frozen fruit ready at your disposal. Just make sure when adding bananas to the freezer, peel first, and then break into bite size chunks, as when I first started freezing them, silly me thought it would be fine to add the whole thing!

Have a play around with the ingredients to suit & enjoy!
