Push-Ups Part 2 – Progressions

Now that you have mastered your ‘20 FULL PUSH-UPS‘, it’s time to make the movement more challenging.

In Part 2 of this series, you have a break down of each variable to help change the dynamic of the, regular push-up. Working through all of these positions will give you a completely different feel to the exercise, as well as their end results.

Here are the four variables to take into consideration when progressing your push-ups:

  • F: Foot position
  • A: Arm position
  • T: Tempo (speed of the movement)
  • E: External load

Programme these into your routine, and use as many different positions as possible to get maximum results from this great exercise.

It’s all about F.A.T.E!

Keep training hard, keep moving well, and let’s stay fit & healthy for a very long time to come!
